Oil makes good economic sense
Figures published in July 2011 show that the average cost of oil heating for a three bedroom house in the UK, using a high efficiency (condensing) boiler, is £1,318 per annum.
This compares favourably with other off-gas fuels such as LPG which cost £1,866 in the same period. **
